Prepared for the rush of winter

We are getting prepared for the rush of winter yes we are ever so busy at winter time with lots of Christmas parties to cater for we have been getting our machines tweaked and serviced for the rush that lies ahead. Hog Roast have a fair few evening firework displays too and we are all like big kids as we just love the fire works! Back to this weekend and we were catering for the lord mayors dinner we catered for them last year and made such a good impression that they invited us back and we were as usual so keen to impress that we put in the extra effort as we always do. Pig was the meat ordered and the pig did look splendid sitting there as the guests arrived, we made a three course luncheon starting with creamed chicken or creamed mushroom soup with crispy croutons, pork crackling and creamed mash with sweet corn and broccoli these was also a few vegetarian guests so we used a small hog roasting machine to make a nice nut roast with some pepper kebabs in a sweet and sour sauce and for dessert autumn fruit berry salad with cream or home made rice pudding such a feast with a lot of hard work and preparation gone into the event and we went to such great lengths to ensure the food was first class. The guests took to their seats and we served each course which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the speeches and presentations were all taking place as we quietly cleared away and cleaned everything spick and span, we were just about to leave when the mayor thanked us over the microphone in his speech ah we were so touched it’s the little things that always make our day we think it so nice when all go to such efforts to say thank you and it really is much appreciated. As we left the major said to us see you again next year! Now that did make our day our third year running what an honour and through all our hard work it has paid off again
