Hog Roast Fofar: Business Meeting’s Made Easy

Nothing quite beats a classic hog roast feast when the weather is nice, and with the gorgeous sunshine we’ve been having recently, this past week has been a hectic one for our team here at Hog Roast Fofar! Kicking things off bright and early last Monday morning, the catering crew made the short trip to a local business park, where we had been asked to serve one of our drool-worthy spreads at a business meeting which saw 40 people come together to talk, well, business!

Weeks before the event went ahead, the client, Jeremy, had called Hog Roast Fofar to get the ball rolling on the corporate luncheon. Right off the bat, Jeremey was impressed by the level of professionalism and helpfulness he received from our bubbly customer service team.

Following some basic introductory questions, the client was passed along to our catering manager who talked him through every step of the booking process before helping him to decide on the perfect menu for the day. Our corporate hospitality menu 3 won over this time around! The positive attitude of our catering manager helped Jeremy to feel confident that the Hog Roast Fofar feast would make the right impression while simultaneously making the guests feel at ease and with that, his concerns for the day quickly melted away.

On the day of the business meeting, the Hog Roast Fofar catering team arrived on-site at 7 am, which afforded them plenty of time to whip up the lunchtime meal that centred around a spit roasted pig infused with salt for extra flavour, crispy crackling and savoury stuffing. Side options of carrot and orange salad with sesame dressing, creamy coleslaw and avocado and cherry tomato salad were also included along with warm new potatoes roasted with sea salt and rosemary and a meat-free alternative of grilled veggie skewered with optional halloumi chunks, flatbreads and tzatziki dip.

The mouth-watering aromas from the hog roast made for the perfect welcome when the guest arrived, and before getting down to business each person queued up (socially distanced, of course) to collect a plate overflowing with tasty food!
