For an event this week we diverted from our speciality hog roast for a more seasonal lamb roast. Our client, Fiona, had requested the lamb as an option on our menu 4 and wanted it to be served with seasonal vegetables and lots of fluffy roast potatoes. Catering manager Steve was happy to oblige and also made sure to prepare some delicious grilled vegetable skewers with halloumi as an optional extra meaning these would be suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.
We arrived at the venue mid-afternoon for a serve time of 8.30 pm. The venue had been beautifully decorated with balloons and banners and looked fantastic. We set up our station and quickly got the food roasting away.
Once the food was ready, we were ready to serve up our Hog Roast Duns to Fiona’s forty guests. We used our own china crockery and cutlery to give a more formal feel the event and made sure everything was tidied away afterwards, leaving Fiona to enjoy her night with her guests.
