Come the last week of April, things will start to look a bit more normal again – and like you, we can’t wait for it! With shops dusting off their tills, restaurants and pubs throwing open their doors and wedding restrictions being lifted once more for guest lists of up to 50 people, I think you’ll agree that we’ve each got a lot to look forward to over the next few weeks.
For Hog Roast Fife, this long-awaited news has been keeping our team very busy lately, as we work hard to solidify our client’s previously delayed nuptial dates while continuing to take on new bookings from newly engaged couples. So, once again, we’d like to encourage all of you, if you haven’t already, to secure your booking with us well in advance.
With so many weddings to prepare for, our excitement only continues to grow as we inch closer to the 26th of April; and Hog Roast Fife catering manager, Steve has been working tirelessly alongside our clients, both new and existing, to exact some gorgeous dining plans that, as well as tasting delicious, will also adhere to the current hospitality guidelines. From wearing masks and gloves, using hand sanitiser regularly and keeping queues to a minimum, to name just a few, you can rest easy knowing that your safety, and that of your guests, is our top priority.
One of the first wedding receptions we’ll attend once the restrictions lift will be between lovebirds, Shaun and Mhairi, who have been waiting for their big day to go ahead since this time last year. Planning to tie the knot in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, which will be decorated to suit their dream, rustic aesthetic, they’ve asked that we serve our southern slow roast menu on the day, rather than one of our set wedding menus. Priding ourselves on delivering fully customisable, or entirely bespoke menus, Hog Roast Fife had no trouble committing to the couple’s needs.
It won’t be long before the pair make their way down the aisle, and until then, Hog Roast Fife will keep in touch to ensure everything runs smoothly for them on the day.
