It’s not very often that we get to enjoy the sunshine here in Scotland, so when it does make an appearance, it’s incredibly exciting! So, naturally, when the recent heatwave hit, Hog Roast Dunblane was rushed off their feet with bookings.
Amidst all of the open-air markets and galas we were lucky enough to be part of over the last few weeks, Hog Roast Dunblane was invited to attend a massive family BBQ, which saw several generations come together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon under blue skies. With the sun beating down, it was the perfect opportunity for the family to get together and make some lasting memories.
As always, Hog Roast Dunblane was intent on making sure that the event ran to schedule and that everyone got the chance to enjoy our delicious food. So our team arrived early to set up and get everything ready before all of the guests arrived.
The menu we provided for this get-together was incredibly varied, meaning there was something for everyone. We had a selection of delicious meat dishes, including chicken kebabs, BBQ spareribs, gourmet sausages and 100% British beef burgers. For vegetarians and vegans, we rustled up our BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls and meat-free sausages. But that’s not all!
Adding extra flavour to this spread, we prepared a variety of salads, mixed sweet potato and regular fries and homemade coleslaw. Typically, this menu doesn’t include a dessert option, but the client was eager for us to include our individual cheesecakes and profiteroles in this spread, and so, we happily obliged. The client also provided drinks for everyone, which our team laid out as a buffer for the guests to help themselves.
Not long after Hog Roast Dunblane had finished with the preparations, the client’s garden was crammed with people. The guests were quick to dig into the food and start celebrating as the music boomed around them.
Everyone was in high spirits and having the time of their lives, which was wonderful to witness. We are thrilled that we were able to be part of this special event and help create some amazing memories.
