Hog Roast Perth Links Up With The Bell Ingram Team At The Royal Highland Show!

Hog Roast Perth There are always a few moments in the year you really look forward to – seeing family you don’t often get to spend time with, trips to a favourite spot, or just catching up properly with old friends. It’s stuff like that that really sticks with you. At Hog Roast Perth, we’re lucky enough to be part of those moments all the time.

One of our regular highlights is catering for Bell Ingram at the Royal Highland Show. We’ve been doing it for a while now, and this year we were back again – serving up a big hog roast lunch for about 200 guests at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showground.

The show itself takes place over two days, and we were on site for both. It was non-stop from morning till evening, and by the end we were absolutely knackered. But you won’t catch Hog Roast Perth moaning – we had an absolute blast!

From Bell Ingram’s coveted ringside spot, we had an amazing view of the action. There were cows the size of small cars being paraded around, glossy-coated horses strutting their stuff, and some seriously impressive bike stunts over in the forestry area. No matter the time, you can bet there was always something exciting going on.

And, of course, Hog Roast Perth put on a show of our own! We slow-roasted a full hog for several hours using our trusty HogMaster until the meat was tender and juicy, and the crackling was just right. Guests loved watching us carve up the hog – there’s something satisfying about seeing the pork pulled apart and piled into fresh rolls with sage and onion stuffing and a spoon of our homemade applesauce.

As always, the sandwiches went down a treat – especially with a pint of non-alcoholic beer from Jump Ship Brewing. And we didn’t forget the vegetarians and vegans either. They had the choice of grilled veg skewers, optional halloumi, flatbreads and a side of creamy tzatziki dip

It was a pleasure to catch up with the Bell Ingram crew once again, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
