For the fundraising Perth Beer Festival, organised by Perthshire Rugby Club but held at North Inch recently, Hog Roast Perth hired out one of our excellent machines so that they could cook a tasty range of barbecued food throughout the day and serve a hog roast. With free entry to the event and attractions such as the Perthshire Rugby’s Sevens Tournament, live music, family activities and, of course, plenty of craft beer, Perth Beer Festival is always incredibly popular and what better food to provide to the hordes than a barbie cooked outside in the sunshine, as well as a centrepiece hog roast?
For this fabulous event, Perthshire Rugby Club hired one of our Hogmaster hog roast machines from our team here at Hog Roast Perth and also required a large pig to feed around 150 people. We breed our own pigs on our farm just outside of Dundee, so we can guarantee to provide high-quality meat that’s sourced locally, and the pig that we supplied for this event was just that.
We delivered the machine the day before Perth Beer Festival and then on the day itself, Jeremy roasted our hog to perfection, as well as other meat, in order to feed plenty of hungry customers plenty of roasted and barbecued food. The event was a great success and we look forward to hearing all about it next year, too!
