Hog Roast East KilbrideIn the midst of planning the wedding of their dreams, tragedy struck for one loved-up couple who’s catering plans fell through at the last minute. With less than two months to spare before their big day, Nick and Katie were in the midst of frantically seeking out new caterers when they stumbled across the Hog Roast East Kilbride website and after spending some time scrolling through our testimonials, they decided to give us a call. They were soon passed through to our expert catering manager who quickly put their minds at ease and after discussing our bespoke packages, the couple decided that our very popular wedding menu 4 would be the perfect addition to their special day.

Nick and Katie’s traditional wedding ceremony took place last Saturday and while the happy couple were busy getting hitched, the Hog Roast East Kilbride team were already in the midst of a cooking frenzy at the pair’s chosen reception venue. Starting with the whole pig which was slow roasted in our Hog Master, the team rustled up a delicious menu of whole roast salmon, locally sourced free-range chicken, spit-roasted spring lamb and sirloin of roast beef which paired nicely with the moreish side dishes of colourful salads, seasonal vegetables and warm new potatoes.

The 100 arriving guests were greeted with glasses of champagne and platters of wild mushroom bouchees, tiger prawns, mini burgers and mini quiche which had them eager to fill their plates from the buffet of succulent meats, and the lovely evening was rounded off with summer pudding and chocolate torte. The bride and groom were blown away with the effort the catering crew put into their special day and they have since been in touch to thank us for saving their wedding.
