A busy Sunday saw Spitting Pig Cater for the Old Course Hotel staff family day near St.Andrews with a Hog Roast and a BBQ, it is always nice to be asked back to cater at this 5 star hotel that has supported us right from the very start all those years ago when we started out with just one hog roast machine. We cooked over 250 of our own pork sausages (made for us by leuchars butchers using our own pork) for the kids on our Titan grill as well as a hog roast for the adults with our homemade coleslaw, green leaf salad and our special tomato basil and mozzarella salad made with 3 types of tomato with a balsamic syrup glaze along with our braveheart potatoes, herb buttered new potatoes with pinhead oatmeal our menu was a massive hit with all the guests.
Everyone had loads of fun on the bouncy castles and when the ice cream van arrived we took this as ourĀ time to pack up as everyone was very well fed and had complimented us on our food, something we take great pride in coming from the staff of a 5 star hotel. We even got an ice cream for the short trip home!
