The Christmas and New Year festivities might be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! With a new year comes all new opportunities to celebrate, and, as always, Hog Roast East Kilbride is here to help you elevate your events with our truly tasty meal plans!
With plenty of special dates littered throughout the month of January, there’s lots for you to look forward to over the coming weeks. Most notably for us Scots, Burns Night is right around the corner, and what better way to mark the occasion than by surrounding yourself with some great company and delicious food?
While we know that Burns Night traditionally calls for haggis, neeps and tatties, it would be fair to say that not everyone is a fan of this classic Scottish supper, but we don’t believe that should mean skipping the celebrations! So, over the years, Hog Roast East Kilbride has proudly helped lots of people update their Burns Night dinners by serving our mouth-watering menus instead, and this year, we look forward to assisting even more Scots with their parties!
We’ve already been hired by Craig to help out with his Burns Night bash at the end of the month, and we couldn’t be more excited! The client, who has never been too keen on haggis, has asked us to serve our famous hog roast banquet, complete with stuffing, crackling, applesauce and gluten-free rolls and wraps.
Giving our iconic feast an authentic Scottish twist, we will also be including a handful of canapé options consisting of miniature beer-battered fish and chips, mini quiche, spiced haggis meatballs and chicken liver parfait. For the starter, guests will be offered smoked Scottish salmon on brown bread with Atlantic prawns and avocado.
With Hog Roast East Kilbride taking care of the food, Craig’s family are in for a real treat this Burns Night, and we’re confident that both he and his guests this event will be remembered fondly for many years to come!
If, like Craig, you want to make this Burns Night your best one yet, simply pick up the phone and call Hog Roast East Kilbride today!
