A Formal Party With Multiple Hog Roast Dornoch Courses

Hog Roast Dornoch loves to cater any kind of party or event and we’ve spent a long time providing delicious food for birthdays, weddings, retirements, corporate functions and charity events, and so much more. While you may think that we only cook hog roasts (and they are our forte which we’ve perfected over many years), we can and do offer much more for our customers to choose from, as we know that you’ll often need alternatives to be served, as well as additional dishes.

Hog Roast DornochWe can easily cook you spit-roasted meat instead, like piles of chickens or turkeys or a great hunk of beef or lamb, or our chef can whip up a homemade dish to cater for a special diet, fresh on the day. With tasty possibilities like homemade mac and cheese or quiche or our highly popular halloumi and veg skewers, vegetarians love our food, and we can make dishes vegan instead if needed, as well as cater for diets like gluten-free or dairy-free. Alternatively, with one of our Hog Roast Dornoch speciality menus, you can treat your guests to something a little bit different, like three slow-roast marinated meats and several sides with our Southern Slow Roast or chips smothered with brisket or pork, a slaw of your choice and melting cheese with our Loaded Fries.

Sometimes we are asked to cater with a menu of multiple courses, like a main and a side or a starter, main, sides and dessert, and we can help you to create your own menu to suit your guests’ wants and needs. For a formal party that Hog Roast Dornoch catered on Friday evening, we were asked to make some delicate canapés, serve a main of pigs in buns and then finish service off with one of our yummy desserts. On the day, our experts made canapés of mini pizzas, burgers and quiches, as well as chicken satay and halloumi kebabs, which we served as the guests arrived, and then once the large hog had cooked beautifully, we served our gorgeous pigs in puns, which were loved by all. For any guests who still had a little room left, our summer pudding was the perfect end to a perfect meal.
