Cheers To One Year: Hog Roast Dundee Helps A Corporate Client Mark A Very Important Milestone!

Hog Roast ScotlandThe first year in business can be a bit of a rollercoaster. Between getting your name out there, finding your feet and tackling enough paperwork to make your eyes feel like sandpaper, simply keeping everything moving can feel like a never-ending challenge in itself. So, when that first anniversary finally rolls around, you’ve every right to crack open something fizzy and celebrate. And that’s exactly what one Dundee-based company decided to do recently when their new office space turned one, inviting Hog Roast Dundee along to help mark the occasion.

Based in Dundee City Centre, the company wanted to celebrate this all-important milestone by bringing their staff together for a well-deserved evening of good food and great company. After all, getting through that first year is no small feat and what better way to reward everyone’s hard work than with a proper feast? Needless to say, we were delighted when they asked us to work our magic.

Before the big day, our catering manager, Lynne, worked closely with the client to put together a menu that ticked all the right boxes. Right away, the client was keen for us to include dishes from our much-loved Southern Slow Roast menu, but there was one important consideration: making sure guests with different dietary requirements had just as much to look forward to. Thankfully, this was never going to be a problem!

At Hog Roast Dundee, we believe everyone deserves a delicious meal – regardless of their dietary preferences – so there was no need to bring in additional caterers or compromise on choice. With options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians, we soon had a menu everyone could get excited about.

Come the afternoon of the event, Hog Roast Dundee headed to the Royal Exchange to get everything ready for the evening celebrations. Three pre-marinated meats were slow-cooked over the grill until beautifully tender and bursting with flavour, while grilled vegetable skewers and BBQ-pulled jackfruit offered equally tempting alternatives for guests who fancied something meat-free. A selection of tasty sides completed the spread, giving everyone plenty to pile onto their plates.

By the time the serving time arrived, the guests were more than ready to tuck in – and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together. From the mouth-watering aromas drifting through the venue to the generous spread waiting to be enjoyed, it was a brilliant way to celebrate a year of hard work.

From all of us here at Hog Roast Dundee, congrats on your first year in the new office – and here’s to many more successful years ahead.
