Built in the 1700s as a home for Kinkell Farm’s many cattle, this traditional brick barn is steeped in history. And with views of the North Sea that will take your breath away, it’s the perfect spot for brides and grooms to tie the knot.
Helen and Jonathan got married here last week, in a stunning ceremony with 130 guests by their side, and all we can say is – wow!
Surrounded by the magic glow of fairy lights and loved ones, the happy couple stepped into the next chapter of their lives. And after the rings were exchanged, Hog Roast St Andrews was ready to get the celebrations kick-started with an incredible antipasti grazing table that seemed to stretch for miles.
Seriously, this spread had everything. Rich cheeses, tomatoes fresh on the vine, crackers, oatcakes, fresh bread, olives, cucumber sticks, breadsticks, watermelon and – our favourite – deli meats styled to look like roses.
Hog Roast St Andrews went all out with this entree, which had the guests even more excited for the main course… but they still had a wee while to wait! Helen and Jonathan had scheduled the dinner service for 5pm, after the speeches. So, an overflowing charcuterie table was a must.
By the time 5pm rolled around, guests were on the edge of their seats with anticipation, and what we unveiled didn’t disappoint. Hog Roast St Andrews’ incredible Gourmet BBQ spread was the perfect addition to this laid-back soiree and made everyone feel right at home.
Guests tucked into handmade beef burgers, succulent sausages, chicken kebabs with a Thai kick and sticky ribs that were so tender and juicy no one could say no. Rounding out the feast, we also had grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and jackfruit buns for vegetarian vegans, plus a selection of creamy coleslaw, pasta salad and baby potatoes on the side. 60 of the guests also enjoyed freshly brewed tea and coffee.
We’re delighted to say that Hog Roast St Andrews left with glowing reviews from everyone and we can’t thank Helen and Jonathan enough for entrusting us with their special day.
