A Scottish Wedding Thanks To The Hog Roast Kirkcaldy Team

Hog Roast Kirkcaldy

Recently, the Hog Roast Kirkcaldy team were hired to create an evening buffet for a local wedding. The wedding party was located in Scotland and many of the wedding guests had worn traditional kilts for the occasion. They had a fantastic time at the wedding and the buffet was a  great way to finish off the evening and put the cherry on top for an amazing wedding. They had a brilliant evening of dancing and partying and the team were honoured to help them celebrate the fantastic day.

The bride and groom had previously hired the Hog Roast Kirkcaldy team for one of their father’s birthday party and had really enjoyed the service the team had provided, especially as the party had been to celebrate his 60th birthday. In addition, they thought the food had been outstanding at the birthday party and so were eager to serve the fantastic buffet to their wedding guests. They quickly booked the team as they wanted to ensure that could have them at the wedding. The buffet at the wedding was to serve 150 people and, therefore, it was essential that the team provided enough food for everyone to enjoy. The buffet was to be served at 9pm as a casual arrangement of food to fill up the guests in the later evening.

The service was led by the Hog Roast Kirkcaldy team’s Head Chefs Steven and John who did a brilliant job of cooking and catering the food. The bride and groom had chosen a classic Hog Roast buffet for the occasion which featured a traditional slow roasted hog which had been freshly cooked on site. The roasted hog was presented on the buffet table and carved on site by the head chefs and was served with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling. In addition, the beautifully cooked meat was served alongside soft bread rolls and wraps in wicker baskets. Overall, the wedding guests really enjoyed the food and the buffet went down really well. The team ensured that they topped up the buffet as the evening unfolded so that all of the guests could have their fair share of the tasty food.
